It falls in the same line as the ideas I previously delved into. If it is easy to appear as something than be something then that is the way to go. Or is it? ‘Fake it till you make it’ is a difficult to deny tip. It sounds like an excellent plan, it takes out the hardship of how we must gnaw and crawl into the level we want to be and more of learn on the job. So why not. There is obviously that clause in it that says - make it. So the intention sounds good right?

The catch is that there are people too good at faking it and the scarcity for actual representation gives these great actors a reason to never make it and yet be successful. To be an improved and respectable version of oneself is not achieved with very less effort and there are guides and steps to do it. Like 10 steps, 5 steps, 41 steps, what is your favorite number. You could do a program and create a guide yourself. Ultimately we all know generally what we must and what we must not do, we just do not practice it or cannot.

What irks me these days is that there are people who has latched onto one or many social causes or issues in an effort to boost their own brand.

Why are we so attracted to the need to assess and calibrate things?

The argument is it helps solve problems when you look at things in that mechanical view.

So are you saying emotion and the ability to feel and experience things is what cause so many unresolved problems in life?

Yeah.

But you want to be free, you want to feel things and not live in this predetermined, controlled and programmed way, right?

Yeah.

Great that makes all the sense.

So much about religion and religious bigots trying to sell the religion and convert is such a hot discussion topic. But we forget that, getting you to see how I see things and making you want to align with it has been everything human beings have been doing from the time we know. Nowadays we are not selling magical or mythical stories as much, but we are selling ourselves as this entity that stands for a cause or against a cause. We are so energized in our stand, that we want to talk about what somebody talked about.

How much complaining have I done in the last few pages? Ugh !

I have a dog, did I tell you that. I love dogs. So my dog is a beagle. She is too playful and clever and she hates her nails being clipped. It’s literally me holding her down or close to my body and rubbing her neck while she has her head inside a cone because she could give a tiny bite when she realizes that I am not going to let her go and the nails will be clipped. My mom or someone else does it as I hold her I mean. It gets stressful because this little girl gets zooomies in between so I have to take a break in between so she can spend the energy and get tired. Well this day, she had explosive energy and after around 30 minutes and a few more nails left, we were taking a break. So just as two human beings behave when doing something tiring, a small bickering came in about the way we were getting the dog and how there are other better ways.

At some point I blurted out how I hated ‘the need to tell people to get things done the same way as someone else when there are a 100 ways to do it that works’. In the tiresome moment the response I received from my mother was like, ‘well I bet you hate every single thing ever’.

Although I later explained my point and she explained that she was exhausted trying to focus and do it safely while the dog was sure it would not let her, I kept asking myself, “shit, do I hate everything? What am I? Some kind of sociopath.”

After careful introspection, I can confirm that I am not. I am in love with so many things. Pizza, Comedy, doused in love for art and film making and artists and creators.

Anyway, yeah living a life being a mirror to myself has been exhausting. I give every suggestion a chance. I give every criticism the benefit of doubt. Sometimes it gets so debilitating when you question yourself based on what people around us hint at - family, friends, total strangers. On one side of it, it opens a new way of being, a new way of life, your willingness to question, understand and think about everything deeply with a conscious effort to eradicate ego or the sense of self from it. On the other side, when you realize you are the only one doing that, it just makes you feel so alone the more you try to be around people. You feel like everything is just noise and there is no one but yourself to chime in and spark in you healing and inspiration. It just become all on us.

Despite all that, I still recommend that you give it a shot. Become a good student throughout your life and yeah like I was preaching earlier, a good parent too. Define it for yourself, just try not to compromise because the true definition and the standard for it is hard.

I am sure you do not need a disclaimer because it’s very rare that you just opened up and allowed yourself to change as you read through what I have written. But for the sake of a disclaimer - I am not saying I have a clue and I have figured it out. I am just saying I am living what I am informing you and if anything, I hope reading this is entertaining you and distracts you from whichever dread you have adopted.
