Excerpts from chapter 1

1

There has been a neutering. It happened gradually. A moderation. It would take a lot for you to be able to see what has happened. The gradual yet very radical nature of the shift has been so smooth - almost like it was an intricate scheme that was always in the works.

2

The will to power has not yet become that primitive a concept. It just was reduced in definition to the very minutiae. Now power can be anything.

3

Contrary to popular belief great music does not exist in noise and great people do not exist in crowds. Great art and great writing dies in their life among spam. But spam is power now because it favors the algorithm.

4

The bourgeoisie is now the algorithm. The true capitalists is now the algorithm. The land seems to present equal opportunities for everyone, on paper. More moderation and more neutering will further it.

5

This version of capitalism is fun in the sense people do not entirely understand who the oppressors are. Resources and growth, regardless of its scarcity or abundance are simply how the algorithm works. Growth, resources and rewards because it is not visibly and tangibly that takes away the space for proletariats to feel like it is the fault of a system or the work of an oppressor. It updates to offer more opportunities and people are excited when it happens. New ways to try, new things to do, maybe this is when I become that which would be my break. The greatness, the following, the influence. I just have to favor the algorithm.

6

The most powerful bourgeoisie now is the guise of social standing. The land of unlimited opportunity for it is the social media. The working class are dying to make it in the farmland that is this social communication medium. They do it knowingly. Barely any protests. Funny how some of them are aware but because they cannot do with even the little they get out of what they have as a social standing, they just immerse themselves into it. The older class of bourgeoisie and capitalists are themselves now the working class for the algorithmic capitalist giants.

7

Even if you read and understand this, you absolutely will refuse this to be a calling or an epiphany and I am not saying it because my writing is to be that but because I am spelling it out here and all you seem to be able to do is go back to slaving. Of course, you would say to me - well this is the world we live in, you cant live any other way.

But hear me out, I do not want a revolution. I dedicate this to the likes of me who find joy in ‘knowing’ and ‘truth’ both of it being a big proponent for being a killjoy.

Also an ‘ism’ against any ‘ism’ or in this context, against an algorithm is bound to become an ‘ism’ in itself.

So if I do not want to be an ‘ism’ and I do not want to be a non binary in the world of binaries and I do not want to be an ‘i’ and if I cannot be nothing, maybe I can be the everything that we are so fittingly oblivious of. But yeah just enjoying this and I know one or two people who would talk to me about it. This is for them.

8

Well shit, I do not know if that last part was necessary but most of you cannot identify or understand things are not binary. Somehow an opposing stance or similar stance is all that seems alive and familiar.

9

Damn. Look at the efficiency of this capitalism. This bourgeoisie class. It gives you the illusion that

a larger, vocal, freedom of speech wearing,

grades not ranks for equal opportunity prophesizing,

euphemism as consolation and a move towards growth preaching,

quantity over quality acting and reacting (which in fact is a product of people choosing their own response to its behavior),

‘self’ is the target for everyone.

10

So this capitalism sells you an attractive ambition, an easy one too from the optics of it and based on the sheer amount of people who can adopt and be a slave to it but feel like it is above everything just seem like perfect recipe for a system that stays. Almost a reality where a revolutionary uprising against the system on paper is by themselves dependent on it.

There is no Marx coming. There is no room for Lenin.

11

It is almost impossible according to most of you to imagine a life outside of it. Every system of life is now a product of it.

12

From - Make it.

To Fake it till you Make it.

To Faking it is Making it because most people are just doing that and they seem to be living a rockstar life from what is an observable snippet of their social standing in social medium.
